Sales Engineer

About the Role

The Sales Engineer will be responsible for technical sales activities, including client presentations, requirement analysis, and solution development for the marine and offshore industry. This role combines engineering expertise with sales skills to effectively communicate technical solutions to clients and ensure successful project implementation.

• Lead technical sales presentations and demonstrations of equipment and systems to potential clients
• Analyze customer requirements and specifications to develop customized solutions
• Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure proposed solutions are technically feasible
• Provide detailed technical proposals, including specifications, pricing, and project timelines
• Support contract negotiations by addressing technical queries and providing engineering expertise
• Maintain relationships with existing clients and identify opportunities for additional sales
• Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and technological advancements
• Conduct site visits to assess customer needs and provide technical consultation
• Work with project teams to ensure smooth handover of sales projects to implementation teams

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 2-4 years of experience in a similar role
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication (tele-calling) and PowerPoint presentation abilities
• Proficiency in technical drawing interpretation
• Effective negotiation skills
