A Continuous Emission Monitoring System (CEMS) for ships is an automated, real-time system that continuously measures, records, and reports exhaust gas emissions from a vessel's main and auxiliary engines. Integri Marine's i-CEMS uses FTIR (Fourier Transform Infrared) spectroscopy and complementary analyser technologies to measure SO₂, NOₓ, CO, CO₂, O₂, and Particulate Matter simultaneously, supporting compliance with IMO DCS, EU MRV, and MARPOL Annex VI reporting requirements.

The i-CEMS simultaneously measures: Sulphur Dioxide (SO₂), Nitrogen Oxides (NOₓ = NO + NO₂), Carbon Monoxide (CO), Carbon Dioxide (CO₂), Oxygen (O₂), and Total Particulate Matter (PM). These cover all parameters required for EU MRV, IMO DCS, MARPOL Annex VI, and national emission reporting frameworks.

i-CEMS automatically generates emission reports formatted for IMO Data Collection System (DCS) and EU Monitoring, Reporting and Verification (MRV) submissions. The system's tamper-proof, 21 CFR Part 11 compliant data logger provides an auditable, time-stamped record of all emission measurements that satisfies flag state and port state control requirements without manual data entry or estimation.

Yes. i-CEMS integrates washwater quality sensors — including pH, PAH (Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons), and turbidity monitors — to verify that the scrubber's washwater discharge meets the IMO MEPC.259(68) limits. This combined stack gas and washwater monitoring capability provides a complete closed-loop scrubber compliance solution.
